About this policy

This policy explains what types of personal information are gathered when you visit the PREMSAFE LIMITED website at premsafe.uk, and how this information is used. It applies to the pages on premsafe.uk. If you follow a link to any other website, please check their policies before you submit any personal information to them.

Information collected

If you use our quote form we ask for your company name, your name, your phone number and your email address. On the form we may also ask what type of building you need help with and whether you have roof safety equipment installed, and you can add a message. By sending the form you agree to PREMSAFE LIMITED holding and using this information to respond to your request. We keep it for as long as necessary for that purpose, and no longer than 24 months.

We also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and operating system, and information about how you reached the site (for example the advert or search that brought you here). We use this to protect the form against spam and to report on how well our website performs.

How the information is used

Personal information you give us is used only for the purposes stated when it is requested: to contact you about your enquiry and to provide you with a quote. It will not be sold to third parties or provided to direct marketing companies without your permission. Information is held in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information about how visitors use the site is used to understand how popular and effective the website is. Where it is shared it is in aggregate form and does not identify individual users.

How we store information and who we share it with

Information you give us is stored on secure servers. We use third-party service providers to host and operate parts of the website and to handle your enquiry, including Cloudflare (website hosting, security and the spam check on the form) and Pipedrive (our customer records). If you accept cookies, WhatConverts and Leadfeeder also receive information about your visit (see Cookies below). Some of these providers may process information outside the UK and the European Economic Area. We take reasonable steps to make sure your data is treated securely and in line with this policy.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties if we are under a duty to do so to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PREMSAFE LIMITED, its members or others.

• A random visitor reference kept in your browser for the length of your visit, so we can count how many people start and finish the quote form. It is not linked to your name or details.
• WhatConverts tracks which advert, search or call led to an enquiry, and shows a tracking phone number.
• Leadfeeder identifies which companies visit our website.

If you reject cookies we still count anonymous form activity (for example that a step of the form was viewed) without storing anything on your device.
